Job Description

• Communicate with clients in a respectful manner.


• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients/suppliers.


• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe riding record.


• Ensure the correct quantity and types of products are delivered to the correct location and customers.


• Send or posting out letters and document to designated location.


• Pickup and delivery of parcels.


• Deliver items by examining items, accuracy of its destination, route, rate and delivery time.


• Verify items issued and delivered by submitting acknowledgment copies; note discrepancies and making sure the acknowledgment copies are returnd to the office.


• Keep the Operations Manager informed of any issue that might have been encountered when pickup or delivery of a shipment.


• Safe handling of any shipment.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess at least a First Degree qualification.


• Must have at least 5 years of riding experience.


• Must know how to ride a bike efficiently and carefully.


• Excellent knowledge of Warri/Sapele and its environs.


• The dispatch rider must have a valid Rider's card/Permit.


• Must be courteous and have integrity.


• The Dispatch Rider must have a good hygiene


• Must be able to work with less supervision.


• Ability to exercise proactiveness.
