Job Description

1. To handle the Maintenance & Trouble Shooting in Mechanical/electrical side of Boiler & auxillaries.


2. Co-ordinate with electrical team for the regular trouble shooting of Boiler & auxiliaries.


3. Rigorously follow the preventive maintenance schedule for Boiler on regular basis & keep all records certified by Boiler Engineer


4. Able to compile data and write reports regarding breakdowns, root cause analysis (RCA), key performance indices (KPI)


5. Ensure the maintenance of steam traps, strainers, condensate recovery tanks & pumps


6. Ensure no safety incidents happen in his area of work, follow LOTO for any maintenance jobs & work permits.


7. Daily capturing of steam generation, water consumption, fuel consumption, steam to fuel ratio & other boiler parameters.


8. Analyse the daily variations in the readings & discuss with Mechanical manager


9. Propose improvements on equipment uptime and based on daily observations


10. Keep history on equipment daily readings & activity records.


11. Take part in new projects execution related to Boiler & steam distribution system

4. Give safety orientation to all workers from time to time


5. Use appropriate PPEs while carrying out jobs


6. Ensure all the working areas are clean all the time


7. Coordinate with safety and quality team for execution of all the jobs related to safety and quality


8. Shows responsibility for safety of third-party employees.


9. Ensure other staff and parties work conform with all safety rules

Requirements

1. Good organizer and communicator, should be able to collect data and make reports


2. 3 - 5 years maintenance planning experience in the manufacturing sector.


3. Good technical insight and able to trouble shoot


4. Team player


5. Quality & safety conscious


6. Hands on experience in various process equipment and Utility


7. Computer skill required


8. Able to efficiently perform internet searches and research


9. Able to read and interpret vendors manuals and drawings


10. Able to communicate clearly and effectively with the personnel, contractors, vendors OEM suppliers and management.


11. Ability to write detailed maintenance report


12. Committed to safety and teamwork


13. Ability to learn and apply maintenance best practices


14. Must have the ability to overcome obstacles and have the organizational skill necessary to complete assignments in a timely manner.


15.  Demonstrate ability to be proactive in problem solving and to lead the resolution of equipment problems.
