Role Summary
- We are looking to hire servers who ensure orders of restaurant patrons are taken accurately.
- You will explain the menu to customers, serve items, and communicate with the production team to ensure product availability during operational hours.
Operational Responsibilities
- Attend to customers upon entrry and guide customers in selecting food/beverages.
- Respond to questions or make recommendations for complementary products.
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and production team.
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Ensure all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that food is of high quality.
- Prepare bills for food on the sales software and collect cash and debit card payments from customers.
- Make change available and issue receipts to customers.
- Ensure order is accurately packed.
- Perform some cleaning duties at the service station and on the restaurant floors.
- Deliver a memorable customer service experience to the client.
- Ensure dishing/serving utensils are available and are cleaned during and after work to comply with health and safety standards.
- Take orders and process orders on via the e-commerce platforms.
- Take record of products passed as require.
- Make recquisition for packaging items as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of ND
- Proven work experience in hospitality
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Must own a smart phone
- Must reside within the Island
