We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our client’s team in Port Harcourt.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
This role is ideal for someone with strong negotiation skills, market insights, and a deep understanding of oil & gas, engineering or a related industry to develop strategies that expand the company’s presence and customer base.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify potential clients, business partners, and new markets for growth, with a focus on expanding the company’s portfolio.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities to generate new business.
Formulate strategic plans to achieve business development goals, including sales targets, market expansion, and profitability.
Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients, showcasing the company’s offerings and value propositions.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreement with new and existing clients to secure profitable business deals.
Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust business development strategies accordingly.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build relationships and promote the company’s services or products.
Monitor business development performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management on progress, challenges, and market opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
Proven track record in generating new business and achieving sales targets.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
