Job Summary



  • We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our client’s team in Port Harcourt.

  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

  • This role is ideal for someone with strong negotiation skills, market insights, and a deep understanding of oil & gas, engineering or a related industry to develop strategies that expand the company’s presence and customer base.


Key Responsibilities



  • Research and identify potential clients, business partners, and new markets for growth, with a focus on expanding the company’s portfolio.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities to generate new business.

  • Formulate strategic plans to achieve business development goals, including sales targets, market expansion, and profitability.

  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients, showcasing the company’s offerings and value propositions.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreement with new and existing clients to secure profitable business deals.

  • Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust business development strategies accordingly.

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build relationships and promote the company’s services or products.

  • Monitor business development performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management on progress, challenges, and market opportunities.


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.

  • Proven track record in generating new business and achieving sales targets.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
