Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Cost Analyst to join our construction team.


• The ideal candidate will assist in analyzing project costs, tracking expenditures, and helping ensure that all financial aspects of construction projects stay within budget.


• This position offers the opportunity to develop skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting within the construction industry.


• You will collaborate with project managers, accountants, and procurement teams to support the financial efficiency and success of ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for real estate development projects


• Analyze project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost accuracy


• Support the financial team in monitoring and reporting project costs


• Collaborate with project managers to review financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities.


• Prepare regular cost reports and updates for senior management.


• Assist in evaluating bids from contractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing.


• Conduct market research to ensure up-to-date knowledge of materials and labor costs in the real estate industry.


• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.


• 1-3 years of experience in cost analysis, financial analysis, or a related role.


• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.


• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.


• Knowledge of real estate industry is a plus.
