 Requirements:

• HND/Bsc in Environmental Science, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Years of experience in waste management, PET recycling, logistics, or a related area is a plus.


• Knowledge of local environmental regulations and compliance requirements.


• Certification in waste management or environmental sustainability is an advantage.


• Passionate about recycling/sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collection Operations:
  
  
  
  • Coordinate the collection of PET materials from various collection points within the specified region.
  
  
  • Develop and implement collection schedules to ensure timely and efficient pickups.
  
  
  • Monitor the quantity and quality of collected PET materials to meet company standards.
  
  
  • Ensure proper handling and transportation of PET materials to prevent contamination and damage.
  
  
  
  


• Relationship Management:
  
  
  
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with collection points, including local businesses, communities, and recycling centers.
  
  
  • Provide support and guidance to collection partners to enhance their collection processes.
  
  
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by collection partners in a timely manner.
  
  
  
  


• Data Management:
  
  
  
  • Maintain accurate records of collection activities, including quantities collected, transportation details, and any discrepancies.
  
  
  • Generate regular reports on collection performance and provide insights for process improvements.
  
  
  • Utilize data to monitor and optimize collection routes and schedules.
  
  
  
  


• Community Engagement:
  
  
  
  • Educate and raise awareness within the community about the importance of PET recycling and proper collection practices.
  
  
  • Organize and participate in community events and initiatives to promote PET collection and recycling.
  
  
  • Collaborate with local authorities and organizations to support environmental sustainability efforts.
  
  
  
  


• Compliance and Safety:
  
  
  
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and company policies related to PET collection and recycling.
  
  
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect staff and partners during collection activities.
  
  
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for collection teams.
  
  
  
  


• Continuous Improvement:
  
  
  
  • Identify opportunities for improving collection efficiency and effectiveness.
  
  
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance PET collection operations.
