Main Purpose of the Job:



  • The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate plant projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. This includes working with various teams, monitoring project status, and ensuring adherence to safety and legal requirements.


Main Responsibilities:



  • Safety: Ensure safety standards are followed at all times.

  • Coordination: Work with different teams to meet project deadlines and requirements.

  • Technical Understanding: Know the technical details of equipment and project plans.

  • Documentation: Maintain and update all project documentation.

  • Quality Control: Ensure high-quality execution and address any issues immediately.

  • Training: Coordinate training for operators with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).

  • Reporting: Provide daily updates and weekly reports to the Project Head.

  • Procurement & Payments: Follow up on procurement needs and vendor payments.

  • Logistics: Manage logistics for the site team and coordinate with plant HR.

  • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks, and escalate issues when necessary.

  • Accountability:

  • Ensure projects are completed seamlessly.

  • Track performance and adjust plans to stay within budget.

  • Develop and share project plans with clients and team members.


Bonding:



  • Develop and coach project team members.

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and regulatory agencies.

  • Promote and implement process improvements and new technologies.

  • Encourage and act on employee suggestions.

  • Share best practices and learn from others in the industry.


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.

  • 5-7 years of experience in technical project engineering.

  • 4 years of experience in a beverage bottling company.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Projects.

  • Experience in budgeting, people management, and understanding bottling operations.

  • PMP Certification or similar.

  • Experience with plant manufacturing, new equipment installation, and cost-benefit analysis.

  • Knowledge of current manufacturing methodologies and safety standards.
