General book-keeping ensuring that all financial transactions are captured through the company’s accounting software
Utilize the company’s accounts books and/or software to record information and prepare or generate balance sheet, profit or loss statement, cash flows and other financial reports.
Ensure the substantiation of all financial transactions evidenced by source documents.
Initiate and maintain financial controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Maintain professional and corporate beneficial relationships with the company’s bankers.
Carry out periodic and prompt reconciliations with debtors and creditors.
Reconcile bank statements regularly to ensure they tally with the company’s records with zero tolerance for and prompt recovery of excess charges.
Secure all source documents, keeping financial information confidential, ensuring speedy and ease of retrieving them.
Ensure a detailed verification of all expenses in the company, then prepare payments after verifying supporting documents if required
Qualifications
Degree / HND in Accounting with strong financial skills.
At least three years work experience in Accounting related function

Use of excel or an accounting software is required
