Manage all accounting transactions by recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare budget forecasts by analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and projecting future financial performance to assist in strategic decision-making.
Publish financial statements promptly to provide stakeholders with transparent and accurate information on the company's financial position.
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings by ensuring all financial records are accurately updated and reconciled at the end of each reporting period.
Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable by verifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
Ensure timely bank payments by monitoring cash flow, managing payment schedules, and coordinating with financial institutions to meet payment deadlines.
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns by calculating tax liabilities, filing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements by preparing and analyzing financial reports to assess the company's financial performance.
Audit financial transactions and documents by reviewing financial records, verifying accuracy, and identifying potential risks or discrepancies.
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary to protect sensitive financial information and ensure data security.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related disciplines
Chartered Accounting qualification (ICAN or ACCA) will be an added advantage.
Maximum of 5 years relevant work experience with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position.
Experience using accounting software such as Quick book, SAGE, ERP
Experience with fast food operations will be an added advantage.
Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
