The General Manager will oversee the general operations of Cemex Portals Limited. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in construction management and architectural design, coupled with strong leadership skills. - Provide strategic leadership to all aspects of Cemex Portals Limited, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and management of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Manage client relationships with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building long-term partnerships.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, safety standards, and quality controls.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align business operations with market demands and client needs.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be proficient in driving.
- Willingness to travel as required for business purposes, including site visits, client meetings, and supplier interactions.
YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree.
- Certification from relevant professional bodies (e.g., PMP, RICS, or similar) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior management, with a strong focus on the construction or real estate industry.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, architectural design principles, and project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
