Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Website Development and Maintenance Specialist to build, manage, and maintain websites for our clients.


• This role requires expertise in web development, including coding, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance.


• The ideal candidate will ensure the website is functional, user-friendly, and aligned with our business goals while keeping content up-to-date and performing regular security checks.

Key Responsibilities

Website Development:

• Develop, and maintain company websites, ensuring they are functional, responsive, user-friendly, and aligned with brand guidelines.


• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.


• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.


• Implement new features, functionalities, and plugins as required.

Website Maintenance:

• Perform regular updates and maintenance to keep websites running smoothly.


• Monitor site performance, uptime, and speed; optimize site loading times.


• Conduct routine checks for broken links, outdated content, and potential issues.


• Ensure website security by updating software, plugins, and backing up content regularly.

Content Management:

• Work with internal teams to update content, including blog posts, landing pages, and product information.


• Ensure content is SEO-friendly and aligned with current marketing strategies.

Troubleshooting & Technical Support:

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to web performance, functionality, and hosting.


• Respond to website-related support tickets and inquiries from internal stakeholders.

SEO and Analytics:

• Implement SEO best practices to ensure optimal website ranking and visibility.


• Track website traffic, analytics, and performance metrics to guide future improvements.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with designers, marketers, and IT teams to ensure the website meets branding and technical requirements.


• Manage relationships with third-party service providers, including hosting and domain management companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.


• Proven experience (3+ years) in website development and maintenance.


• Proficiency in web development languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.


• Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.


• Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, and website optimization tools.


• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.


• Knowledge of website security protocols and maintenance.


• Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
