Job Summary



  • Export Documentation Officer is a strategic partner in running the business and plays a crucial role of preparing and processing export documentation, ensuring compliance with regulation, and facilitating the smooth shipment of goods.

  • The Export Documentation Officer will liaise with concerned internal units and with external stake holders (Export trade partner, Freight forwarder, Regulatory agencies, etc.)

  • He/she will be part of a team with a culture of high performance and will deploy his/her skills optimally to achieve strategic priorities.

  • The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of export regulations.


Responsibilities



  • Prepare and process export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and certificates of origin.

  • Coordinate with Finance unit, Quality unit, Freight forwarder, Shipping terminal and Shipping line in getting respective businesses handled.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as customs, export control agencies.

  • Verify accuracy of documentation, including product description, quantities, and values.

  • Maintain records and files of export documentation, including electronic and paper copies

  • Track and update status of cargo from shipping line site.

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in export regulations and procedures.

  • Prompt documentation to meet required deadlines.


Education



  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration or any relevant field.

  • Certified Export Compliance Professional (CECP) or similar certification.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Age: 24 - 35 years


Required Skills / Abilities:



  • Over two (2 years) of experience in export documentation or related field.

  • Knowledge of export regulations, including Incoterms, Harmonized Systems and Customs procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Good Analytical and innovative skills.

  • Must be self-motivated

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and export documentation software.
