As a Procurement Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our organization's financial management and procurement operations. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to
Efficiently handle the procurement process, including sourcing vendors, obtaining competitive bids, and negotiating favorable prices for goods and services.
Utilize your excellent negotiation skills to secure the best possible terms and conditions with vendors while maintaining positive and professional relationships.
Prepare and manage purchase orders and contracts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to procurement policies.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure all procurement activities are in line with the allocated budgets and financial regulations.
Maintain meticulous books of accounts and records related to procurement activities, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
Provide financial data and reports to management, enabling informed decision-making regarding procurement strategies and cost-saving opportunities.
Uphold a high level of integrity and compliance with the organization's policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations in all procurement transactions.
Job Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and financial accounting.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
