Key Responsibilities



  • Inspect raw materials, fabrics, trims, and finished garments to ensure they meet the company's quality standards.

  • Conduct in-line and final inspections throughout the production process.

  • Identify defects, inconsistencies, or damages in garments and ensure corrective actions are taken.

  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and recommend improvements.

  • Measure and test garment fit, stitching, construction, and overall appearance based on set criteria.

  • Keep detailed records of inspections, defects, and quality control reports.

  • Ensure compliance with industry and safety standards.

  • Monitor and ensure all production processes adhere to the company’s quality standards and guidelines.

  • Train production staff on quality control measures and best practices.

  • Work closely with the design and production teams to identify potential quality challenges in new designs


Requirements

Education & Experience:



  • High School diploma or equivalent required; a degree or certification in Textile Science, Fashion Design, or a related field is a plus.

  • Prior experience in quality control in the clothing or textile industry is preferred.


Skills & Qualifications:



  • Proven experience in quality control, preferably in the fashion or textile industry.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects and inconsistencies.

  • Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to use measuring tools and testing equipment to assess garment quality.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
