We are currently looking to engage a highly competent and result-oriented Senior Associate, Procurement (P2P) with strong personal & professional integrity to join our dynamic workforce.


Responsibilities


The Senior Associate, Procurement (Purchase to Pay), will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective control and optimization of the university’s inventory processes.


He/she is expected to;



  • Manage the requisition process, from initial request through approval, ensuring that all inventory-related needs are clearly defined and processed efficiently.

  • Collaborate with academic and support departments to capture specific inventory requirements and translate them into actionable requisitions.

  • Ensure all requisitions align with budgetary constraints and organizational priorities, maintaining accurate documentation for audit and reporting purposes.

  • Oversee the creation, issuance, and tracking of purchase orders (POs) to ensure timely procurement and replenishment of inventory items.

  • Monitor the status of POs, any necessary amendments or cancellations, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchase orders, ensuring alignment with university policies and procedures.

  • Manage the entire purchase-to-pay cycle, from requisition to payment, ensuring timely and accurate processing of inventory[1]related transactions.

  • Work closely with the finance team to resolve discrepancies between orders, deliveries, and invoices, ensuring smooth financial reconciliation.

  • Implement and optimize P2P processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce delays or errors.


Qualification & Experience


Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.



  • A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in inventory management or a similar position.

  • A strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in higher education.

  • Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and manage their priorities.

  • Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.

  • Proactive and adaptable in addressing the evolving needs of academic and administrative units
