Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a safe and responsible working environment across all offshore operations.
- Coordinate daily HSEQ matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Prepare, review, and communicate HSEQ reports, tracking incidents, near-misses, and safety performance.
- Conduct safety inductions for new employees, contractors, and visitors to offshore sites.
- Organize and participate in safety committee meetings, ensuring the implementation of HSEQ initiatives.
- Carry out regular site visits and safety audits to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate, report, and follow up on accidents, incidents, and near-misses to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and implement HSEQ policies and procedures, ensuring they are effectively communicated and adhered to.
- Collaborate with operations teams to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain records of HSEQ activities and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in offshore marine services, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
- Strong understanding of HSEQ regulations and industry standards, particularly for offshore operations.
- Experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in HSE (such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with offshore safety management systems and relevant software tools.
