  • The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing financial reports.

  • This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

  • The Accountant will work closely with our management team to ensure financial stability and compliance.


Key Responsibilities



  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts; track budget performance and provide variance analysis.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. Prepare and file tax returns as necessary.

  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy.

  • Payroll Management: Process payroll, including calculation of wages, benefits, and deductions. Ensure timely and accurate employee payments.

  • Audit Support: Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits. Provide necessary documentation and respond to audit inquiries.

  • Expense Management: Monitor and review expenses, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for cost savings or process improvements.

  • Software Utilization: Utilize accounting software and systems for financial management and reporting.


Qualifications



  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification or equivalent is a plus.

  • Experience: Must have 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.

  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero), Microsoft Excel, and other financial management tools.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and record-keeping.

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial staff.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ethics: High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
