Job Overview



  • The Senior Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and brand positioning within the healthcare industry.

  • This role requires an in-depth understanding of healthcare products, services, and regulatory compliance.

  • The ideal candidate will lead strategic sales and marketing initiatives, manage client relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and distributors, and oversee a team to meet company growth objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Execution:



  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the healthcare industry, focusing on key products such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, diagnostic tools, or healthcare services.

  • Lead a high-performing sales team to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in a highly regulated environment.

  • Identify new business opportunities, including partnerships with healthcare facilities, government health programs, and distribution channels.

  • Build strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders, including hospital administrators, physicians, and procurement officers.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, maintaining a strong understanding of market changes and policy updates.


Marketing Strategy and Execution:



  • Craft marketing strategies that highlight the company’s healthcare solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and patient care priorities.

  • Oversee content marketing, digital marketing campaigns, and promotional activities that resonate with healthcare providers and professionals.

  • Work with the product development team to promote new healthcare products or services, coordinating product launches that meet healthcare sector demand.

  • Implement marketing campaigns that comply with healthcare industry regulations and emphasize the company’s commitment to improving patient outcomes.


Team Leadership:



  • Lead, train, and mentor the sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision for healthcare impact and growth.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation in the healthcare sales and marketing space.


Market Insights and Competitive Analysis:

  • Identify gaps in the healthcare market and develop strategies to position the company as a market leader.

  • Gather feedback from healthcare providers and patients to inform future product development and marketing strategies.


Budgeting and Reporting:



  • Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to drive growth.

  • Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and the impact of marketing campaigns, presenting insights to senior management.


Qualifications and Requirements



  • Bachelor's Dgree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Healthcare Management, or a related field. An MBA or Master’s in Healthcare Management is preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in the healthcare industry (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, hospital solutions, etc.).

  • Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales targets within a healthcare environment.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals.

  • Familiarity with healthcare CRM systems and sales management tools.

  • Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make informed decisions in a healthcare context.
