Responsibilities
- Manage the tender process, oversee commercial activities, and ensure that the company secures profitable contracts.
- Lead the end-to-end tendering process, including identifying opportunities, preparing bids, and ensuring compliance with client requirements.
- Oversee commercial negotiations and contract management, ensuring that all agreements align with the company’s financial and operational goals.
- Work closely with the business development and operations teams to align tender submissions with company capabilities and market demands.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to ensure the company remains competitive in its pricing and service offerings.
- Ensure all tender documentation is accurately completed and submitted on time.
- Monitor and analyze the financial performance of contracts and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize profitability on awarded tenders.
- Liaise with legal teams to review contracts and mitigate any risks.
- Maintain a database of tenders, bids, and commercial agreements for easy access and monitoring.
- Ensure that all pricing is competitive, realistic, and profitable.
Qualification/Requirements
- A degree in Engineering or related discipline
- At least 5+ years of experience in a similar role within Nigeria
- Strong knowledge of the tender process in industries like oil & gas, marine, and construction industry.
- Proven track record of securing high-value contracts
- Excellent negotiation, financial, and commercial management skills
