Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or specialized certification in AGL systems is preferred.


• COREN Certification is preferred.


• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on airfield ground lighting or related systems.


• Strong project management skills and proficiency in electrical design and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB).


• Strong knowledge of international aviation standards and regulations (e.g., ICAO, FAA).

Job Description

• Lead the design and development of systems, including runway lighting, taxiway lighting, approach lighting, and associated control systems.


• Oversee the installation and commissioning of AGL systems on airfields.


• Develop and implement plans for AGL systems to ensure continuous operation and reliability.


• Ensure all AGL designs and installations comply with relevant aviation regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards.


• Act as support in all AGL projects from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.


• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, operation manuals, and maintenance records.


• Lead the response to any electrical emergencies related to AGL systems.
