Job Summary:


The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and overall HR functions at Karios Markets. The HR Officer will work closely with the management team to  align HR initiatives with departmental and organizational goals, ensuring the effective management of the workforce.


Key Responsibilities:


Recruitment and Onboarding:



  • Manage the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating with the department heads to ensure the selection of qualified candidates. Facilitates smooth onboarding for new hires.


Performance Management:



  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems. Track employee KPI”s, facilitate performance review and help set short-term and long-term goals for employees in collaboration with department management.


Employee Relation:



  • Serve as a point of contact for employees HR-related concerns and grievances. Ensure the company’s policies are effectively communicated and maintained to promote a healthy work environment.


Training and Development:



  • Identify training needs for employees and assist in organizing relevant training programs. Collaborate with department heads to ensure  continuous professional development.


Time and Attendance Management:



  • Track and manage employee attendance, leaves, and work hours. Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with company policies.


HR Administration:



  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personal data, job history, and performance evaluations. Assist in processing payroll,benefits and other employee compensation matters.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business administration, or a related field.

  • 2-3 Years experience in human resources roles , with a strong understanding of HR functions.

  • Familiarity with HR software, such as ATS, SAP and HRIS.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • HR certification is an added advantage.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
