Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic professional to lead their new auditing division. As the Head of Firm, you will be responsible for establishing and growing a high-performing auditing team, ensuring quality assurance, compliance, and exceptional client service. This role demands a strong leader with extensive experience in audit and assurance, financial management, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead the auditing team, building it from the ground up and ensuring the highest standards of performance.
Oversee all audit engagements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to ensure financial stability.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored audit services that meet client needs.
Drive business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and expanding the firm’s client base.
Provide strategic leadership, aligning team efforts with the firm’s overall vision and goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in audit and assurance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of auditing standards, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
Proven ability to build and lead successful teams.
Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
