Job Responsibilities
- Prepares and cooks food according to recipes and customer orders.
- Follows food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure the safety of food.
- Maintains kitchen equipment and supplies in clean and working order.
- Coordinates with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Takes inventory of food and supplies and orders as needed.
- Performs other kitchen duties as assigned.
In addition to these responsibilities, you may also be required to:
- Train new kitchen staff.
- Order food and supplies.
- Manage inventory.
- Work with other kitchen staff to create menus and recipes.
- Decorate food for special occasions.
- Answer customer questions about the menu.
