Job Responsibilities:
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues that cannot be addressed by Level 1.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis to identify the underlying causes of recurring issues and implement permanent fixes to improve user efficiency.
- Bug Fixing: Develop patches or updates to address software bugs identified through user reports or testing.
- Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks or roadblocks, optimize codes, and improve the overall system efficiency.
- Database Management: Perform database queries, updates, backups, and maintenance tasks to ensure data integrity and availability to ensure reduced digital carbon footprint.
- Release Management: Assist with software releases, version control, and deployment processes.
Key Requirements:
- HND/BSc; qualifications in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science or any relevant courses.
- A minimum of 2-4 years work experience as a software engineer or level 1 technical support engineer.
- Previous experience working with a notable IT consultancy company is preferred
- Familiarity with the use of any of the following technologies/tools;
- Web Applications: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Angular
- Backend Development: Java, Python, Node.js, ASP.NET
- Database: SQL (MySQL and PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB), Oracle
- DevOps: Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Grafana, AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud
