Job Responsibilities: 



  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues that cannot be addressed by Level 1.

  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis to identify the underlying causes of recurring issues and implement permanent fixes to improve user efficiency.

  • Bug Fixing: Develop patches or updates to address software bugs identified through user reports or testing.

  • Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks or roadblocks, optimize codes, and improve the overall system efficiency.

  • Database Management: Perform database queries, updates, backups, and maintenance tasks to ensure data integrity and availability to ensure reduced digital carbon footprint.

  • Release Management: Assist with software releases, version control, and deployment processes.


Key Requirements:



  • HND/BSc; qualifications in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science or any relevant courses.

  • A minimum of 2-4 years work experience as a software engineer or level 1 technical support engineer.

  • Previous experience working with a notable IT consultancy company is preferred

  • Familiarity with the use of any of the following technologies/tools;

  • Web Applications: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Angular

  • Backend Development: Java, Python, Node.js, ASP.NET

  • Database: SQL (MySQL and PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB), Oracle

  • DevOps: Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Grafana, AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud


Platform



  • Good customer relationship and technical problem solving skills
