Job Summary



  • The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying md-level to high level business prospects, business development, mapping out strategies to drive business growth and expansion in line with the objectives of the organization.


Job Description



  • Identify new clients, open new business relationship with them and upgrade relationships to clients.

  • Research and compile a list of all organizations that form BU Power’s target customers within the geographical zone.

  • Identify and document mid-level target market, while highlighting prospective business opportunities in those markets.

  • Strong facilitation skills, capable of organizing and spearheading meetings with mid-level project stakeholders.

  • Present a portfolio of prospective clients at the beginning and end of every business cycle.

  • Project planning, execution and management with minimal supervision.

  • Adept in Business Intelligence and project management tools such as Power BI, Excel, Power point Presentation etc.

  • Provide honest feedback on customers’ perception of the company’s services.

  • Prepare, analyze and update intelligence reports on competition, market trends, pricing and sales strategies

  • Establishing and maintaining partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders within our target market.

  • Continuous learning and having proactive research habits while staying updated on industry trends to effectively target midlevel clientele.

  • Develop and maintain a database of clients (prospective customers, new and past customers).

  • Prepare monthly sales and performance reports, using the report from sales forecast.


Qualifications



  • First Degree in any field preferable Social science, Business or Engineering Management.

  • 4+ Years of experience in Sales and Business Development.
