Facility Operations and Maintenance:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facilities, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and safety.
- Schedule and supervise routine and preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
- Coordinate repairs and upgrades to the facility and infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs.
Vendor and Contractor Management:
- Manage relationships with external service providers, including cleaning, security, and maintenance contractors.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and ensure that vendors meet agreed-upon standards.
- Conduct regular audits of contractor performance and address any issues that arise.
Space Planning and Management:
- Optimize the use of available office space, including seating arrangements, meeting rooms, and storage areas.
- Manage space allocation and ensure efficient use of physical resources.
- Oversee office relocations, renovations, or expansions, ensuring minimal disruption to the organization’s operations.
Budgeting and Cost Management:
- Manage the facility budget, including maintenance costs, utilities, and vendor contracts.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising facility quality or safety.
- Prepare and submit regular budget reports to senior management.
Asset Management:
- Maintain accurate records of facility assets, including equipment, furniture, and fixtures.
- Monitor the condition of assets and schedule replacements or upgrades as needed.
- Implement an asset tracking system to ensure accountability and proper usage.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND in relevant fields with 3 - 5 years of work experience in similar role.
