Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
Reconcile bank statements with accounting software reports.
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports in Excel or PowerPoint.
Monitor and track expenses, payroll records, etc. as assigned.
Assist in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
Manage operational expense accounts.
Qualifications
HND or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
1 - 3 years of experience working as an Accounts Officer in a local pharmacy setting.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Knowledge of pharmacy operations and drug sales a strong plus.
