The Head of Human Resources is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company’s business goals.
This role involves leading all HR functions including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
As a key member of the leadership team, the Head of HR plays a pivotal role in shaping company culture, enhancing employee engagement, and fostering a high-performance environment at LandWey.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the CEO in driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs.
Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures; and maintain control of diverse business operations.
Develop and execute HR strategies that support the company’s overall objectives and promote a positive company culture.
Act as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team on all HR-related matters, including workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.
Oversee all HR initiatives, systems and tactics, supervise the work of HR team and provide guidance, ensuring alignment with best practices and business goals.
Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention; and resolve all employee concerns.
Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning
Drive the implementation of a comprehensive performance management system to ensure continuous feedback, development, and recognition of employees.
Lead organizational development initiatives that drive business growth, improve employee performance, and enhance organizational effectiveness.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages open communication, collaboration, and employee well-being.
Develop employee engagement initiatives to increase job satisfaction, motivation, and retention.
Develop and monitor adherence to internal policies, legal standards; ensuring consistency across all departments and resolving litigation risks
Monitor HR metrics and performance, providing reports and insights to senior management for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage).
Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Communications, Operations, Strategies, Marketing etc.
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
Aptitude in decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
Exceptional business acumen, creativity and innovative thinking.
Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and verbal and written communications skills
