Job Summary:


We're seeking an Experienced Hotel Accountant with a minimum of 6 years of experience in hotel accounting to manage our financial activities, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute to our continued success.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage and oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts

  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and hotel policies

  • Conduct internal audits and implement controls to minimize risk

  • Analyze financial data to optimize revenue and minimize expenses

  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions

  • Supervise and train accounting team members

  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing and reporting


Requirements:



  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Hotel Accountant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

  • Professional certification is a plus (ACA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) 

  • Strong knowledge of hotel accounting software and systems

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Integrity, transparency, and attention to detail


Desirable Qualifications:



  • Experience with hospitality industry-specific accounting software 

  • Familiarity with Nigerian tax laws and regulations

  • Previous experience in a similar role in Abuja
