Responsibilities

• Align the internal audit framework with the organization's strategic goals.


• Develop and implement an audit strategy to assess and strengthen controls.


• Provide leadership to auditors, ensuring audits are delivered on time and with quality outcomes.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and risks.


• Establish a strong control culture across the organization.


• Lead change management initiatives to enhance control practices.


• Report audit findings and control recommendations to senior management.


• Work with management to identify and mitigate operational risks.


• Review the integrity of financial information and activities.


• Respond to ad hoc requests for control assessments on new processes and policies.


• Review operational processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.


• Manage and mentor a team of auditors across multiple locations, ensuring strong communication and transparency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; Master's degree is an added advantage.


• ICAN or relevant professional certification is required.


• Over 10 years of experience in internal audit, forensic auditing, or compliance.


• Proven experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments.


• Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on change management.


• Knowledge of audit methodologies, regulatory standards, and control enhancement.


• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.


• Proficiency in auditing software and data analytics tools.
