Key Responsibilities



  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections.

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of financial accounts.

  • Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial records and maintain proper documentation.

  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.

  • Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors when necessary.

  • Stay up-to-date with accounting laws, regulations, and industry best practices.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • CPA certification (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Strong knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or other ERP systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
