Job Summary


The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer is responsible for overseeing all Data collection and programming, including ensuring the technical quality of data entry and management of the program. The M&E Officer works with IP Monitoring & Evaluation Team to conduct enumeration and service delivery of beneficiaries in the community, provide regular monitoring, and provide feedback on learnings during project implementation, directly facilitates technical capacity building on Data quality, and supports efforts to coordinate with local government and private sector partners. The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer directs and supervises the Data Entry Clerk including overseeing and managing all community case workers on the project.


KEY RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES



  • Design and develop appropriate framework and attendant systems for the implementation of the effective monitoring and evaluation of programmes and projects of the Ministry.

  • Assist in the monitoring of the work programmes of the Overseas Missions and Divisions at Headquarters and prepare progress reports as necessary.

  • Assist in the development of key performance indicators for all activities undertaken at the Ministry and at the Overseas Missions and develops feedback mechanisms to address deficiencies and to improve service delivery.

  • Collaborate with the relevant Divisions/Overseas Missions and External agencies to ensure collation and compilation of data and statistics for the preparation of reports.

  • Undertake statistical analysis on activities carried out and prepare reports to assist in enhancing service delivery.

  • Facilitate capacity building for the monitoring and evaluation of the Ministry’s work programmes and activities.
