Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts at our Abuja factory. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to expand our market share, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive revenue growth. You will play a key role in building relationships with dealers, contractors, construction companies, and other key stakeholders within the roofing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and objectives.
- Manage and coach the sales team, ensuring consistent performance and achievement of sales goals.
- Actively chase and engage potential customers to drive the sales of Fabcom product portfolio, including Light Steel Keel, Galvanized Welded Pipe, and all Roofing Products and Materials.
- Conduct marketing surveys to gather insights into customer preferences, market trends, and competitive positioning.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand Fabcom client base across Nigeria and neighboring countries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with roofing dealers, contractors, construction companies, and government agencies.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and market demand.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management.
- Represent Fabcom at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote our roofing and steel solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the construction or roofing industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Knowledge of the Nigerian construction and roofing market is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
