The Crusher Machine Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mineral processing machinery and equipment such asjaw machine, cone crusher, motors, slurry pumps, belt conveyor,cyclone, ball mill, thickener, flotation tanksto ensure optimal operation.
The role includes welding, dismantling, installing motors, and producing non-standard parts such as pipes and brackets.
Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance and repairs on mineral processing machinery, including jaw crushers, cone crushers, motors, slurry pumps, ball mills, belt conveyors, cyclones, thickeners, and flotation tanks.
Carry out welding and gas cutting tasks on machinery and equipment to maintain optimal functionality.
Dismantle and install motors, ensuring proper alignment and performance.
Fabricate non-standard parts such as pipes, brackets, and frames according to required specifications and measurements.
Conduct inspections of equipment to detect wear and tear, and implement preventive maintenance measures.
Use a variety of tools, including welding equipment, gas cutters, grinders, and other hand tools required for machinery maintenance and fabrication.
Requirements
3-5 years proven experience in equipment maintenance, welding, and fabrication, particularly in mineral processing or heavy machineryincluding jaw crushers, cone crushers, motors, slurry pumps, ball mills, belt conveyors, cyclones, thickeners, and flotation tanks. industries.
Expertise in welding techniques (arc welding, MIG/TIG) and gas cutting.
Strong understanding of mineral processing machinery and equipment, including crushers, slurry pumps, conveyors, cyclones, and flotation tanks.
Ability to dismantle and install motors and other mechanical components.
Experience in fabricating non-standard parts such as pipes, brackets, and other structures according to specific measurements.
