The IT Control Officer position will be responsible for assessing controls around IT infrastructures including applications and databases as well as all IT project development.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with IT control policies, frameworks, applicable laws, regulations, and standards


• Perform IT security reviews involving people, processes, and technologies.


• Monitor IT systems and processes to validate that controls are operating effectively.


• Collaborate with IT and business units to understand control requirements and implement appropriate solutions.


• Conduct regular IT risk assessments and vulnerability assessments.


• Perform assessment of IT application controls, IT general controls environment and automated controls embedded within IT environment.


• Support the requirement gathering, system analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, upgrade and termination of all system development or acquisition effort to ensure that management controls are embedded at all stages

Requirements:

• B.Sc degree in an IT related course


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT control, audit, risk management, or a related field.


• Proven experience in designing and implementing IT controls and conducting risk assessments.
