We are seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team in a Chinese mining firm.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with the six core modules of Human Resources, possess an extensive talent pool, and have a proven track record of managing over 100 employees.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to supportour HR initiatives effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and implement the six core HR modules: Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, and HR Strategy.
Develop and maintain an effective talent pool to meet the firm's staffing needs.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in all HR practices.
Manage HR operations for over 100 employees, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and offboarding.
Lead and mentor HR staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Address employee concerns and provide guidance on HR-related issues.
Develop and implement performance management systems to evaluate and enhance employee performance.
Design and manage competitive compensation packages and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
Monitor market trends and make recommendations for salary adjustments and benefits enhancements.Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the firm’s business objectives.
Participate in strategic planning sessions to identify HR priorities and initiatives.
Analyze HR metrics and generate reports to inform decision-making.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and WPS) to create HR reports, presentations, and documentation.
Prepare and present HR data and analysis to senior management.
Requirements
2 - 10 years of experience in Human Resources management, preferably within the mining, large organization or related industries.
Proven experience managing HR functions for a workforce of over 100 employees.
Good knowledge of Nigerian labour law.
Established network and talent pool within the industry.
In-depth knowledge of the six HR modules.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strategic thinking with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.
Preferred Candidates should be between 28 and 40 years old.
