Responsibilities

• To assist the Head of Procurement and Contract with ensuring goods, services and works are procured in the most appropriate manner


• To ensure compliance with approved procurement policies


• Collaborate with other Technical Buyers to ensure efficient/optimal sourcing of materials and services for the smooth and continuous operations, maintenance and management of Plant Operations.

Degree

• Graduate of Analytical Sciences, Engineering, Management, Economics, etc. from any Higher Institution/Universities

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Knowledge:

• Locol/International Market knowledge of supply chains covering


• Procurement Scope for Administration and Corporate Spend.


• Basic to Good knowledge of International Trade Laws and Logistics.


• Contract conditions, terms of payments, commercial law. Knowledge of principles of providing customer and personal services.


• Knowledge of business principles involved in strategic planning and other relevant areas
