Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new international business opportunities.
- Managing the export and import of goods and services, including overseeing logistics and shipping.
- Ensuring compliance with international trade laws and regulations, including trade restrictions, tariffs, and customs regulations.
- Coordinating with other departments within the company, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure smooth international operations.
- Negotiate and close business deals with international partners.
- Develop and implement effective international sales strategies.
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Coordinate with various teams to address customer service issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with international market trends and competition.
Job Requirements:
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Marketing, Business administration or other relevant fields.
- Minimum of 5 years and above demonstrable experience as an international business, trade or sales manager or executive role.
- Familiarity with international business terms, documentation, laws, regulations and procedures.
- Experience in Importing and exporting business and must understand all its processes, documentation and requirements.
- Strong managerial and leadership skills
- Smooth, eloquent communication and report writing skills and good with computer and relevant trading software
- Candidates must be ready for a physical interview/assessment immediately.
