Job Description

• Recording expenses and preparing financial reports.


• Working with external auditors.


• Ensuring the accuracy of bookkeeping and that the bookkeeping is compliant with state and federal laws.


• Recording disbursements and payments.


• Ensuring that systems are up to date.


• Examining financial documents and financial transactions to ensure compliance and rectify any discrepancies.


• Preparing tax returns, such as PAYE, Vat returns, ITF, NISTF and other dues.


• Work with team to complete month-end and year-end closing off processes


• Prepare documents for and liaise with external auditors


• Preparation of branch monthly payroll and relevant schedules


• Having inter- branch reconciliation


• Monthly banks’ reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bsc. / HND in Accounting


• 2 - 3 years of experience in similar role


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.:


• Proficiency in accounting software


• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.


• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
