Job Description



Job Responsibilities



  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, cranes, trucks and loaders

  • Repair or replace defective parts such as engines, gearboxes, pumps, and valves.

  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks

  • Service hydraulic systems by replacing seals, hoses, and fittings, and performing tests to ensure leak-free operation.

  • Supervise the work of contract mechanics and technicians involved in the maintenance of company assets, including vehicles, air conditioning units, generators, and other equipment.


Requirements



  • A Diploma or technical certification in Heavy Equipment Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Diesel mechanics or a related field

  • 4-5 years of experience in maintaining and repairing heavy construction equipment in Nigeria

  • Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and transmission system of heavy-duty construction equipment

  • Ability to lift and handle heavy tools, equipment parts, and machinery components.
