Inspect and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, cranes, trucks and loaders
Repair or replace defective parts such as engines, gearboxes, pumps, and valves.
Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
Service hydraulic systems by replacing seals, hoses, and fittings, and performing tests to ensure leak-free operation.
Supervise the work of contract mechanics and technicians involved in the maintenance of company assets, including vehicles, air conditioning units, generators, and other equipment.
Requirements
A Diploma or technical certification in Heavy Equipment Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Diesel mechanics or a related field
4-5 years of experience in maintaining and repairing heavy construction equipment in Nigeria
Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and transmission system of heavy-duty construction equipment
Ability to lift and handle heavy tools, equipment parts, and machinery components.
