Job Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team.


• The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.


• The Electrician will work closely with our facilities and maintenance teams to ensure the safety and reliability of our electrical infrastructure.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment.


• Inspect electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures for safety and functionality.


• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.


• Collaborate with other departments to ensure electrical systems meet operational requirements.


• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity of electrical systems.


• Keep accurate records of electrical work performed, materials used, and time spent.


• Stay up-to-date with industry codes, regulations, and best practices.


• Respond promptly to emergency situations and resolve electrical problems swiftly.


• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to address facility-wide issues.


• Provide guidance and support to junior electricians and apprentices.

Job Requirements:

• SSCE / OND / HND / B.TECH or BSC.


• Proven experience as an Electrician in a commercial or industrial setting.


• Strong understanding of electrical components and processes.


• Knowledge of hand and power tools used in the electrical trade.


• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments and conditions.
