Job Summary



  • We are looking for Business Development Executives to join our dynamic team based in Lagos.

  • As we expand and reposition strategically, we need a skilled professional to support our business growth objectives and explore new opportunities in the upstream sector of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry.

  • The ideal candidates will play a key role in managing client relations and driving business development activities.

  • Responsibilities include driving initiatives that align with our business goals and enhancing business performance by understanding and addressing customer needs effectively.


Job Responsibilities



  • Market Penetration and Expansion: Identify new markets and implement plans to enter and acquire new clients. Drive initiatives to enhance business growth and market presence.

  • Project Tracking and Reporting: Provide updates, and generate reports on industry trends, competitor activities, and project statuses.

  • Bid and Proposal Management: Preparation and management of bids and proposals. Follow up on tenders and ensure timely and accurate responses to client inquiries.

  • Networking and Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and associations. Leverage professional networks to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

  • Technical Expertise: Gain and apply a deep understanding of the company’s products and services. Provide expert advice and support to clients and internal teams.

  • Agency Liaison: Work with key industry agencies such as NUPRC, NNPC, and NCDMB. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

  • Client Relations: Manage and strengthen relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the upstream oil and gas sector.

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company's growth objectives.

  • Strategic Initiatives: Support the development and execution of business strategies to enhance market presence and performance.

  • Customer Needs Analysis: Understand and address client needs, providing tailored solutions to drive business success.


Minimum Requirements



  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Geology / Geophysics, Sales / Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

  • 5 - 8 years of experience in business development within the oil and gas sector.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge of the Nigerian Upstream Oil and Gas Industry and oilfield processes.


Competencies:



  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver effective presentations.

  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and drive business development.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business goals.
