Job Summary

• As the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you are responsible for supporting different types of projects cutting across the enterprise projects, Technology projects, some business projects and client projects.


• In this light, the QA carries out its activities and models the process based on the projects/requests being handled at the time.


• The types of projects have been largely categorized into agile driven approach and waterfall V-Model driven approach.


• Also, ensures product and service excellence.


• QA activities are essential to assure the quality of the product and give satisfactory assurance that a product meets requirements during development and or modifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Become intimately familiar with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).


• Works with software developers and system operators to oversee the code releases and deployments and foster collaboration between the development and the testing team.


• Works with the company leadership to provide and define product direction for the product being released.


• Work with QE team to incorporate automated test coverage in test planning efforts.


• Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of a release.


• Coordinate, supervise, and mentor feature leads and testers, both in-house and nearshore


• Collect, analyse, and report project test metrics.


• Manage the work program for QA & testing for data intensive critical application.


• Prepare Master Test Strategy and Plans for iterative waterfall projects in the work program


• Manage people (internal or external) who use the service or product being released for day-to-day business activities.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in a relevant field with 5-7 years experience.
