Job Description


The Store Officer will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of IT products. This role is critical to maintaining the high standards our clients expect and ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse.


Key Responsibilities



  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring all items are correctly logged and stored.

  • Receiving and Dispatching: Oversee the receiving of goods, ensuring all deliveries are checked against orders and discrepancies are reported. Coordinate the dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate shipment.

  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Implement and adhere to warehousing standards and procedures.

  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of inventory to ensure product quality and integrity.

  • Data Entry: Accurately enter inventory data into the warehouse management system and generate reports as needed.

  • Team Coordination: Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficient operations and assist in training new staff.

  • Customer Service: Address client inquiries regarding inventory and shipments, providing excellent customer service.


Requirements



  • Education: Minimum Qualification HND

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Store Officer in a  warehouse or logistics organization, preferably within the IT sector.


Skills:



  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Paying attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items.
