Job Summary
- The Portfolio Risk Officer shall actively monitor, assess and report risk factor variables in a prioritized manner as they impact our operational and credit risk activities.
- Trend tracking, risk registering, risk scoring and risk reporting shall be a central focus of all job functions. In addition, the officer shall understand risks associated with all product portfolios and create corresponding reports on portfolio age analysis, and portfolio value erosion/creation directly related to the time value of account receivables documenting the same accordingly to present to the line manager.
- He/she is also responsible for monitoring the accurate and timely reporting of all receivable repayments into the enterprise software system.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Client Experience Management Unit Leads sheet provision
- Credit Bureau Reporting – BiWeekly
- Credit Bureau Reports updates – Daily
- Credit Bureau Report validation response
- Validation and Comparison of Bank statement report and Bank ledger report (for recovery and collections unit)
- All ERP reports are validated by comparison of values of the same variables amongst different reports.
- Collections postings log report Portfolio performance trend charting and recording
- Protracted periods (3 years and above)
- Support research into business expertise areas
- Validation of collections weekly report with bank ledger report
- Monitoring of portfolio age analysis
- Credit risk register and risk score card recording/reporting
Qualifications / Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 1-year working experience in any data management or similar field
- Good understanding of industry laws and regulations
- Ability to present and communicate analysis and recommendations
- Ability for quick comprehension and summarization of large data for dynamic reporting.
