Job Description
- Responsible for analysing income and expenses under various income and expense headings, extracting the ledgers and summarizing the income and expenses according to banks
- Reconciliation of accounts - monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities to maintain accounts receivable and payable.
- Reconciling of debtors and creditors accounts and submitting of reports on debtors and creditors accounts to management.
- Prepare a monthly report on amounts payable by debtors to line managers.
- Keep records of source documents for audit purposes.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, process invoices, and reconcile balances.
- Monitor and account for inventory levels, ensuring accurate valuation and cost control and avoid over-sell.
- Track daily and monthly sales performance and assist in cash flow management.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenses against forecasts.
- Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Ensure tax compliance and assist with audits.
- Liaise with vendors and customers on financial issues.
- Monitors products loadings by customers using Release note, Waybills and AITEO reports.
- Opens Form M, obtains and uploads other import related documentation required by Custom/CBN on the portal and follow up for approvals.
Job Experience
- BSc/HND in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics
- ICAN student member.
- Experience 1-3 years
- Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
- Good financial analysis skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
