Job Description

• We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Music Teacher to join our team.


• The ideal candidate will inspire young students in early years and grade school through engaging music lessons that foster a love for music and creativity.


• You will be responsible for developing students’ musical skills, knowledge, and appreciation, while encouraging their individual talents.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to the needs of students in early years and grade school.


• Introduce students to a variety of musical styles, instruments, and techniques.


• Develop and implement a curriculum that covers basic music theory, rhythm, singing, and instrumental performance.


• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and creativity.


• Prepare students for performances, school events, and extracurricular music activities.


• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into other areas of the curriculum.


• Assess and report on students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.


• Maintain and care for musical instruments and equipment.


• Encourage a love of music and active participation in musical activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education or a related field.


• Teaching certification/license is preferred.


• Previous experience teaching music to young children is highly desirable.


• Proficiency in playing and teaching a variety of musical instruments.


• Strong understanding of music theory and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to inspire and engage students with different learning styles and abilities.


• Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching music to young learners.
