Requirements

• B.Sc/B.Tech/HND in Accounting, Economics, Banking/Finance, Business Administration or any other related discipline.


• A higher degree may be a plus.


• ACA/ACCA and CISA or partial qualification of the certifications will be an added advantage.


• Minimum of five years’ industry experience in an audit team, preferably in microfinance/commercial banks.


• The candidate should be conversant with audit software and data analytical tools (e.g., Python, R programming).


• Strong proficiency in MS Office suites.

Job Description

• Review and evaluate the audit practices in the bank.


• Ensure that the present audit practice in the bank is in line with the international audit standard.


• Carry out independently the evaluation and examination of the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal control and risk management systems.
