The Retail Expansion Manager is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of a company’s retail presence. This role focuses on identifying new market opportunities, securing retail locations, and overseeing the entire expansion process from strategy to execution. The Retail Expansion Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to maximize the company’s presence and profitability in targeted regions.


Key Duties/ Responsibilities



  • Research and identify potential new store locations.

  • Analyze market trends, customer demographics, and competition.

  • Recommend the best areas for expansion based on data.

  • Find and evaluate suitable sites for new stores.

  • Negotiate leases and contracts for retail spaces.

  • Create financial plans and budgets for new stores.

  • Oversee the entire process of opening new stores (construction, design, setup).

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, HR, supply chain) for smooth store launches.

  • Ensure new stores comply with all laws and regulations.

  • Track the performance of new stores and make improvements as needed.

  • Spearhead growth initiatives, identifying and exploiting new channels for user acquisition and market penetration.

  • Collaborate with product development for future enhancements based on user feedback market demands.

  • Oversee brand management and public relations efforts to enhance brand recognition and loyalty.


Qualification/ Experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, marketing, or a related field.

  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing roles within a tech focused environment.

  • Proven experience sales, marketing, business development.

  • Experience in building and managing networks and partnerships
