Job Objectives

• We require the services of a Palm Plantation Supervisor who will supervise a start up farm in Lagos.

Responsibilities

The Palm Plantation Supervisor will be expected to perform the following among other functions:

• Supervise a Palm plantation of about 60 acres of immature oil Palm.


• Ensure all plantations are within the framework of Environment policies and responsibilities.


• Ensure all work operations in safe and responsible manner


• You will be responsible for the health and high productivity of the plants


• You will maintain proper farm documentation and necessary information


• Manage subordinates and ensure optimum productivity of everyone.


• Drive the growth and expansion of the farm by suggesting new opportunities and initiatives.


• As a startup farm, you will also handle other tasks as needed as the farm progresses

Requirements

• Our ideal candidate should be someone who holds at least 5 years experience in plantation management or the like.


• The successful candidate should possess supervisory and leadership competencies and should be able to work on their own, manage subordinates and be highly self motivated.


• Furthermore, the candidate should be able to make decisions without hesitation and should be willing to work outside of normal working hours where necessary.
